The company will work with restaurant owners who are transitioning; either expanding to a new location or selling their current location. In addition, Atlanta Restaurant Exchange will assist potential new restaurant owners to find locations in the Atlanta area.

The owners are using their experience in the industry to create a brokerage operation which brings a unique approach to the purchase and sale of restaurants in the Atlanta area. They will help restaurant owners recognize the full value of their businesses as going concerns. Atlanta Restaurant Exchange will seek to serve the middle market of the restaurant and food service industry. This is a market targeting smaller, independent businesses.

Fred Miller, CEO of Atlanta Restaurant Exchange has hands on experience with the Food Service Industry. He came from a family which for a generation was involved in the Industry. He understands the unique needs of the owner / operator. He also grasps the concerns of the purchaser of a restaurant operation. His unique insight comes from having owned two restaurant operations of his own. Most of Fred’s professional life has been involved in the analysis, financing and oversight of all types of small business concerns during his 35 years in the banking industry. He has been involved in the valuation and sale of hundreds of small concerns in the restaurant and other small business areas.

Doug Marranci, General Manager of Atlanta Restaurant Exchange has spent his entire life in the restaurant business. His parents before him were in the business, which is where he gained the huge store of knowledge he has of the industry. Doug has managed restaurants for others, mom and pop operations as well as those of major franchises. In addition he has owned several restaurants of his own. Doug has been involved in the sale of many restaurant properties as a representative of the seller and counselor to the purchaser.

Ormai è noto, Riccione è la ‘Capitale’ del della Riviera Romagnola, in questo periodo soprattutto per il capodanno Riccione, ma anche per quanto concerne il Tax Free shopping del quale possono usufruire gli incessanti turisti stranieri che ogni giorno affollano il famosissimo viale Ceccarini alla ricerca di prodotti di qualità a prezzi convenienti. Nella ‘Perla Verde’, così viene chiamata Riccione, in funzione dei dati ufficializzati in questi ultimi giorni dal Global Refound, azienda di primo piano a livello internazionale nello sviluppo del Tax Free shopping (non è altro che il servizio offerto a tutti i turisti stranieri che lo richiedono, un rimborso complessivo dell’IVA su tutti i beni e prodotti acquistati in Riviera e che vengono esporti nel proprio paese di origine con il bagaglio personale).

Proprio Riccione risulta la città più propensa a questa tipologia di commercializzazione con ben oltre il 40% del Tax Free shopping della Romagna. Ecco la classifica parziale: Riccione 45% seguita da Rimini col 28%. Si tratta quindi di un mercato in grande espansione sul territorio Romagnolo che vanta una costante crescita vicina al 20% rispetto il 2007 con una spesa complessiva media di oltre 560 euro.

Confrontando i mesi di gennaio ed ottobre del 2008 con quelli dell’anno precedente, entrambi segnalano un forte aumento della propensione all’acquisto, più precisamente gennaio ha registrato un incremento del 15% mentre ottobre del 17%.

Nello stello lasso temporale, la progressione più evidente si attesta però a Milano Marittima, laddove l’incremento degli acquisti è stato oltre il 45% con una spesa media di oltre 1200 Euro (record per l’intera Emilia Romagna). Analizzando e profilando i clienti (in questo caso turisti da ogni parte del mondo), i dati attestano che i Russi, solitamente alloggiano presso hotel Rimini fiera, possiedono la leadership fra tutte le altre nazioni con oltre l’80% della spesa che usufruisce del TAX FREE, attestando una crescita ulteriore rispetto l’anno 2007 di oltre il 30%.

Il secondo posto è occupato dai turisti delle nazioni nate dopo la divisione dell’URSS e rappresentano circa il 6% del totale. In terza posizione i cittadini Arabi che in questo ultimo anno hanno subito una flessione della spesa pari al 40% ed ora rappresentano solamente l’1% del mercato generato dal TAX FREE in Riviera Romagnola.

In questi termini, per ciò che concerne i settori merceologici, i viaggiatori stranieri effettuano 8 acquisti su 10 nel settore della moda e del fashion, mentre la categoria della gioielleria raggiunge uno scontrino medio di oltre 1780 Euro e copre l’11% delle spese totali.

Come già detto in precedenza, rispetto al 2007, quest’anno è sicuramente in progresso (circa il 23%) nel totale sulla spesa in tutta la Riviera, con scontrini medi pari a circa 560 Euro.

La controtendenza, rispetto alla situazione economica mondiale, dovrebbe essere confermata anche nei periodi natalizi che fra 1 mese vedranno arrivare in Riviera, per il capodanno Rimini e Riccione, migliaia di turisti italiani e stranieri: pronti a festeggiare, pronti a spendere.
